Ketola/Targus Painting was founded in 1977 by John Ketola, the president and CEO. The company initially focused on residential new construction painting. In 1981, we began to increase our customer base and had a need for a larger painting staff. Throughout the 1980's, we concentrated on new residential track housing and began a division on new residential high end custom painting.

In the early 1990's Ketola/Targus began an effort to perform residential and commercial repainting. The broad base of customers this type of work produced was consistent with our goal to help stabilize long term quality painters on staff. Continuing through the 1990's, we developed long term relationships with residential and commercial customers.  As a result, our company now has an expert staff of painters serving both types of customers.

Ketola/Targus is committed to using the best available practices and products in order to complete a long lasting quality paint system. We have invested in up-to-date training on techniques and required practices. We continue to keep up on all the latest technology and any new rules or regulations effecting our painters and the environment.

Now in our 4th decade in business, our commitment to our community and employees is stronger then ever. We give back to the local community in the form of several charity paint jobs a year and will continue to provide a safe and healthy environment for our employees.
